CPR First Aid Training For Groups Onsite

Having CPR-trained employees onsite ensures a safer work environment and can make the difference between life and death in an emergency. Employees with first aid training are also more aware of workplace hazards and can help prevent accidents before they happen.

At Holmes Medical Training, we provide WSIB-approved CPR and First Aid training to ensure your team is prepared for any situation.

Why CPR Training Matters

✔ Creates a safer workplace – CPR-trained employees recognize risks and respond effectively in emergencies.
✔ Reduces liability risks – Protects your business from potential lawsuits.
✔ Boosts employee confidence – Workers feel safer knowing their colleagues are trained to respond.

How Many Employees Should Be Trained?

According to Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA), employers must provide first aid training and maintain a stocked first aid kit.

Under WSIB Regulation 1101:
✅ A first-aider must reach an injured worker within 2 minutes.
✅ Workplaces with 5+ employees must have Standard First Aid CPR Level C with AED training.

Consider your worksite size, hazards, and layout to determine how many employees should be trained.

Common First Aid Training Questions
What is First Aid?

First aid is the immediate emergency care provided to an injured person before medical professionals arrive. It can help:
🔹 Reduce injury severity
🔹 Prevent further harm
🔹 Keep casualties stable until paramedics arrive

First aid skills can be used at work, at home, or in public emergencies.

Who Needs First Aid Training?

Everyone. Accidents can happen anywhere, and first aid training gives you the confidence and skills to assist a co-worker, friend, or family member in need.

What to Wear to CPR Training?

First aid training includes hands-on scenarios, so comfortable clothing and flat shoes are recommended. If you or your employees have mobility concerns, please inform us before the course so we can make accommodations.
