How Many Employees Should Be Trained?

According to Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA), employers must provide first aid training and maintain a stocked first aid kit.

Under WSIB Regulation 1101:
✅ A first-aider must reach an injured worker within 2 minutes.
✅ Workplaces with 5+ employees must have Standard First Aid CPR Level C with AED training.
